Forging Stronger Connections for a Promising Future

On 26 October, HKU iCube hosted a landmark gathering for the Vietnamese student community at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). This inaugural event brought together Vietnamese students from a range of programmes—undergraduate, Master’s, MBA, and PhD—in a warm and welcoming setting. It was a unique opportunity for students to connect, exchange experiences, and establish a foundation for a supportive Vietnamese network at HKU. This gathering marks the beginning of a strong community that will continue to inspire and support Vietnamese students throughout their academic journeys in Hong Kong.

Since our establishment in 2022, HKU Vietnam have continually strived to bring the world-class education of the University of Hong Kong closer to Vietnamese students. Through valuable scholarship programmes, we have enabled many young talents to realise their dreams of studying at one of the world’s leading universities.

Over the past two years, HKU has welcomed multiple cohorts of Vietnamese students to Hong Kong, pursuing both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and cultivating a strong, dynamic, and tightly-knit Vietnamese community.

HKU Vietnam recognises that a robust, supportive community plays a pivotal role in motivating and encouraging each member on their academic and personal journeys. This gathering represents an important milestone in building a vibrant network of Vietnamese students at HKU—a network where students can support, inspire, and help one another achieve excellence both in academics and in their broader careers.
