Each topic comprises 15 hours of interactive lectures, culminating in an examination at the conclusion of the course. Students must attend all classes and successfully complete both boot camp courses.

Single Concentration
The programme provides three specialization options:

For admission to the Master's Programmes, candidates must meet the following criterias:
Hold a recognized bachelor's degree or its equivalent;
Provide statements from two referees assessing their suitability for the programme;
Submit a TOEFL/IELTS* score if you are not from an English-medium university. The minimum score requirement is TOEFL: 80 | IELTS: 6 (with no subtest below 5.5).
While GMAT/GRE scores are not obligatory, a high score can be viewed favorably and prove advantageous, especially in marginal cases.
Typically, interviews are not required as part of the admissions process.

For instance, if you submit your application on October 2, 2020, only TOEFL/IELTS tests taken after October 1, 2018, are considered valid. Why Master of Climate Governance and Risk Management
The Master of Climate Governance and Risk Management (MCGRM) programme, offered by the HKU Business School and the Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality (ICCN), is a unique initiative that combines business knowledge with an in-depth understanding of climate science and policy. Its goal is to prepare graduates with the interdisciplinary expertise needed to tackle climate change and achieve carbon neutrality through the integration of scientific, policy, and business insights.
The programme is guided by the mission of the University of Hong Kong and aligns with the objectives of ICCN, in line with the growing global emphasis on fostering leadership and climate change initiatives. The curriculum has been carefully designed to provide comprehensive global perspectives on climate governance and management issues, which are recognized as some of our time's most significant challenges.
The programme, which will have an interdisciplinary academic focus, will be co-hosted by the HKU Business School and ICCN, in collaboration with the Faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Law, and Public Health. To deliver the program, these entities share a common mission to translate climate change and environmental research into real-world impact.

Pay a non-refundable application fee of HK$300.

Because of the large number of applications received by HKU, your application account will be valid for only four weeks. Make sure to submit your application within this time frame or it will be lost.
Typically, admissions decisions are made within a month of the application deadline.

Admission to the University's undergraduate degree programmes depends on academic performance and other factors such as interview performance, personal statement, references, and other submitted documents. HKU is currently offering a full scholarship program (covering 100% of tuition fees) for Vietnamese high school students enrolled in schools across Vietnam. The scholarship application criteria are as follows:
