Ceremony to commemorate the Vietnam's National Day 2023

On the evening of September 19th, in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau organized a ceremony to commemorate the 78th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023). During this event, Dr. Phan Quang Tuấn, Head of HKU Business School Vietnam Office, and Professor of Business Administration at the University of Hong Kong, had the honor of sharing about the mission of supporting Vietnamese students in accessing advanced education systems like that of Hong Kong.
With its long history of development and a commitment to creating a positive global impact, HKU Business School has implemented various training strategies to cultivate high-quality human resources for society. Establishing a representative office in Vietnam is part of this goal, offering Vietnamese students diverse academic programs and access to numerous practical opportunities and valuable research participation. This initiative aims to strengthen Vietnam's relations with Hong Kong, Asia, and the world in the fields of education and research, ultimately stimulating economic and social growth in Vietnam.
The HKU Vietnam team has been striving to bring about positive impacts and connect Vietnam with the region and the world. Notably, there is collaboration between HKU Business School and Optimas Capital Investment Fund to establish a postgraduate scholarship fund specifically for Vietnamese students studying at HKU Business School. With a maximum of 10 scholarships awarded annually, totaling over 9.1 billion VND, this presents a special opportunity for many young talents in Vietnam to acquire new knowledge in a top-quality educational institution in the region and the world.
Furthermore, the HKU Vietnam Office has organized practical experience trips to Vietnamese businesses for postgraduate students of HKU Business School, aiming to showcase Vietnam as a shining example of economic growth in the Asian region.
With their efforts over the past year, the HKU Vietnam Office hopes to continue building cultural bridges and fostering collaboration between Vietnam and Hong Kong in the fields of education and culture.
