HKU Business School – Viet Nam Van Thinh Phat
Scholarship
In February 2012, Mr. Chu Nap Kee and Ms. Truong My Lan of Van Thinh Phat
Group Holdings generously donated a sum to The University of Hong Kong
for the establishment of the "Viet Nam Van Thinh Phat Scholarships" to
attract outstanding talents from Viet Nam to study undergraduate
programmes at the University.
Applicable degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration in
Accounting and Finance; Any undergraduate programme offered by the
Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Engineering.
Eligibility: 1st-year students currently studying at any public
university or 12th-graders at any high school in Viet Nam.
Scholarship Coverage: this full scholarship covers all necessary
expenses (*) related to education and living of scholars throughout
their study in HKU including application fee, visa fee, tuition fee,
annual airfares, accommodation and personal living expenses.

HKU Business School – Optimas Capital
Scholarship
In 2022, Optimas Capital and HKU Business School (HKUBS) established a
Scholarship to support Vietnamese Taught Postgraduate Students.
Amount
- Up to 10 scholarships shall be made annually to full-time
postgraduate students.
- A fully funded tuition fee for a postgraduate program at HKUBS.
- Financial support allowance for low-income students.
Application Round
Applications open in Fall 2022 to start in Fall 2023.
Criteria
(a). Connections with Viet Nam, such as Vietnamese passport hulder,
or have completed an undergraduate degree in Viet Nam
(b). Good academic performance in undergraduate study
(c). Interview performance
